We all are born with immense power within us. It is truly said that ‘Our life is the creation of our mind’. We are gifted with the power of thinking and imagination that the mind holds.
Humans are an emotional animal, we usually tend to find a solution for our problems without realizing that most of them start with us. This could be because you have not met the six enemies and if you know them then probably you have not taken good control over them.
Believe me, I am not an expert who could help you in conquering the six enemies but the least I could do is make you aware of the six enemies. Shadripu or the six enemies are listed as below:
1Kama or Lust
One can have lust or desire for Knowledge, sex, food or any material. Life is a bundle of desires. It is basically a lack of self-control which could lead you to some bad addiction, therefore we must have a ceiling to our desires.
2Krodha or Anger
Frustration, unfulfilled desire or anything that makes you feel displeasure could be the cause of your anger. Anger is not an entity it is created within you which will harm yourself and also others.
Next time whenever you get angry just remember these words- You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
3Lobha or Greed
Greed is a selfish or excessive desire to acquire something more than one needs or deserves, especially wealth, power or food. Greed does not rest until it is satisfied and greed is never satisfied.
4Moha or Attachment
Most of us live in an illusion world. Either we don’t see the reality or we don’t want to see the reality just because we are attached to it. We must learn to see the reality. Many of us don’t want to come out of our comfort zone and accept the changes in Life.
5Mada or Pride/Ego
Ego is one of the evil qualities where you expect everyone and everything to bow to its wishes. Ego is just like a dust in the eye, without clearing the dust you can’t see anything clear. So clear the Ego and see the world.
6Matsarya or Jealousy
The last enemy and the worst of all enemies is Jealousy. It is a state or feeling of being envy or discontented by someone else’s possessions, qualities or luck. The jealous may be troublesome to others but it is more vicious to the one who holds it.
Now that you are aware of the six enemies all I wish that these 6 enemies stay away from you because one can protect oneself against physical or emotional harm, but protection against one’s harmful thoughts and feelings is not an easy task.
